Jaxsta shores up funding, removes overhang

Jaxsta, a Sydney start-up aspiring to be ""LinkedIn Pro meets Bloomberg for the music industry"", has moved to squash investor concerns about its capital position. The music data provider has agreed terms for the sale of its Marine Rescue Technologies. The fresh funds may help to remove fund manager fears about the company's capital requirements. Jaxsta has a few projects in the pipeline and is expected to launch its consumer portal in May and Jaxsta Pro, a $US150-a-year subscription service for music industry professionals, in July.
